This policy sets out when and how The Good Season Co. Ltd (trading as The Good Season) accepts returns, and your rights as a consumer. Because every piece we sell is produced specifically for you once an order is placed, our returns policy is different from a standard off-the-shelf retailer.

1. Made to order

Every print is produced, hand-framed, assembled, inspected and numbered the moment you order it. No piece is taken from stock. No piece is generic.

2. No change-of-mind returns

Because each piece is made to the consumer's specification once an order is placed, goods supplied by The Good Season are treated as made-to-order within the meaning of regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. The statutory 14-day cancellation right therefore does not apply, and we do not accept returns or refunds on the basis that you have changed your mind, redecorated, moved home, or no longer want the piece.

3. Damaged or faulty on arrival: 30-day window

If your piece arrives damaged, broken, or otherwise faulty, we will replace it at our cost. To start a replacement, email us at hello@thegoodseason.co.uk or call us on +44 333 880 8242 within 30 days of the delivery date with:

  • your order number;
  • photographs of the damage (ideally including the outer packaging); and
  • a short description of the issue.

We will confirm next steps and arrange a free replacement in the same edition. We may ask for the damaged piece to be returned in the original packaging using a prepaid label we provide. Replacements are subject to the standard 14-working-day production window set out in our Shipping Policy.

4. Cancelling before dispatch

If framing has not yet started on your order, we can usually cancel it and refund you in full. Email us within 24 hours of ordering at hello@thegoodseason.co.uk with your order number. Once framing has begun, the piece is yours.

5. Refund timeline

Where a refund is agreed, it will be issued to your original payment method. Most banks and payment providers post the funds within 3 to 10 business days of us approving the refund.

6. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to goods of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If you believe a piece is not of satisfactory quality, contact us and we will investigate promptly.
