After Midnight is the late hours of the sailing season, on three coasts: Cowes on the Isle of Wight, Porto Cervo on Sardinia’s Costa Smeralda and Saint-Tropez on the French Riviera.
Cowes gives the Solent, the yacht clubs and Cowes Week. Porto Cervo gives the marina and the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda. Saint-Tropez gives the old port, the beaches of Pampelonne and the long dinner that becomes the night.
When to go
June to September. The regattas set the calendar on all three coasts, and September, when the crowds have gone home, is the month the regulars keep.
