French Riviera photography prints.

Striped awnings, warm shutters, moored boats and a very good place to swim. Emma Tysinger photographs the French Riviera from its streets to the water, finding the smaller pleasures around the view. Choose a coastal photograph, an architectural detail or a little of both.

From the house.

A row of parasols follows the curve of a beach. Boats make coloured lines across still harbour water. In Nice, balconies stack above the street and a striped awning offers shade. Emma Tysinger’s French Riviera photographs give the buildings, beaches and ordinary arrangements of a holiday their share of attention.

The selection moves between close details and longer views along the Côte d’Azur. Orange walls offer a strong block of colour; pale rock and deep blue water leave more of the frame open. Small swimmers, roofs and a distant tower keep the coast inhabited. The setting is grand. The pleasures are reassuringly simple.

Choosing your photograph.

Choose the warm facade or striped awning if the room needs a definite colour and a clear pattern. For a longer view, start with the rocky shore or the bay beneath the cliffs. Harbour boats give you both: a strong composition from across the room and reflections to inspect when you get closer.

These photographs are portrait compositions. Compare the finished frame height with a narrow wall, a space beside a doorway or the wall above a small console. For a pair, try one architectural view beside one coastal scene, keeping the size and finish consistent. Check the dimensions of your selected print, frame and border on the product page.
