From the house.

Water will not keep still, so these photographs hold it at the moment it breaks. In Edge of Water, Jordan Cahill looks down on a steep, fractured shore, white foam tracing every place the sea reaches the stone. In The Last Steps, Emma Tysinger follows a staircase down a Croatian cliff to a line of white surf on turquoise water.

Before the Splash catches a swimmer upside down above the foam off the rocks in Nice, the water still waiting below. Drift is the quiet end of the collection: open water seen from above, its ripples changing colour around one small boat.

Choosing your photograph.

Edge of Water and Drift are wide and work above a bed, a sofa or a low sideboard; their blue-green water sits easily with timber, ceramics and linen. The Last Steps and Before the Splash are portrait, made for a hallway, where the eye meets them in passing.

A white frame keeps the water bright; black gives it weight. Every photograph is printed to order on 308gsm Hahnemühle Photo Rag with archival pigment inks, unframed or in a black, white or wood frame.
