Kitzbühel Polo Cup 2027
The unusual start to January
January in the Alps tends to revolve around skiing.
Kitzbühel has other ideas.
From 8–10 January, the Kitzbühel Polo Cup brings medium-goal polo to the snow at Reith, with horses, winter air and the Wilder Kaiser forming the backdrop.
It is an unexpected combination until you see it.
Then it makes perfect sense.
A different kind of Alpine weekend
Snow polo has been part of Kitzbühel's winter calendar since 2003.
The sport is fast and physical, but the setting gives it an entirely different character. Horses on snow. Mountains behind the pitch. Spectators wrapped up against the cold.
It feels unmistakably Kitzbühel.
Before the Hahnenkamm
The timing makes this one particularly interesting.
The Polo Cup arrives just before one of the biggest weeks in the Alpine sporting calendar, when Kitzbühel begins to gather momentum for the Hahnenkamm.
January is a good month to be here.
