David Szabo
David Szabo photographs alpine life with an architect's eye: classic cars, winter streets and the light that gives a place its character.
The photographer’s workFrom the house.
The kitchen can take a photograph with a little company in it. This selection brings together everyday signs, warm architectural colour, coastal scenes and mountain lunch stops. The connection is the room they might live in, rather than a claim that every photograph was made in a kitchen.
Choosing your photograph.
Choose a wall away from the hob, sink and steam. Compare the picture’s main colours with the surfaces around it, then check the finished dimensions. A clear graphic subject can read well across a busy room; a smaller photograph can reward the quieter corner.
Each work is printed to order. Its product page shows the available sizes, framing choices and edition information where applicable.
